Overview
The TempDAQ™ is an analog break-out box accessory
designed for use with CarDAQ2534 and CarDAQ-Plus. It
supports up to 6 channels of thermocouple or analog
voltage measurements, using existing CarDAQ hardware.
Features
TempDAQ is a rugged temperature-compensated amplifier
designed for field applications. It rescales the voltage
signal from K-type thermocouples to use the full dynamic
range of CarDAQ's A/D subsystem. This permits highly
accurate in-vehicle temperature measurements: between
-200C and +1250C, with better than 1C resolution.
Alternatively, select the BNC input to pass a signal
(unamplified) directly to CarDAQ. The A/D subsystem can
sample up to 6 voltage signals with range 0-27V, at
2kHz, with 12-bit resolution. The user can set each
channel separately for temperature or "raw" voltage
measurement.
This accessory uses a single connection to CarDAQ's
analog connector for power and communication. It
features rugged design and construction, similar to the
rest of the CarDAQ family of products.
