Kit Overview

The Application development kit provides all the components needed for you to build you own application that will turn your AVIT, CarDAQ-Plus, ScanDAQ or DashDAQ device into a tool you can use for specific purpose.  With this development kit, Drew Technologies has helped customers create applications that turned their Drew Tech device into a:

·        Standalone reprogramming tool for vehicle software updating

·        Data logging tool that logs vehicle traffic

·        Remote vehicle monitor

·        Trouble Code reporting and clearing tool

·        Vehicle assemble test and verification tool

Kit Contents

The application development kit contains the following items:

·        Development system – a customized computer system configured specifically to run the Application Development Kit.

·        Tools – all the build utilities needed to build your application from source code.

·        Libraries - all the libraries needed to take advantage of the hardware on the Drew Technologies AVIT, CarDAQ-Plus, ScanDAQ or DashDAQ.

·        Documentation – describing how to use the tools, libraries and device specific hardware.

·        Examples – example programs to jump start your application development

·        Support - 1 year online and phone

Operating System:

The machine will come pre-loaded with Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS, a support contract for the operating system will be included.

Kit Price:

The MSRP for the Linux-SDK kit is $9995.00. Different packages may be available depending on the amount of support requested by the customer and the hardware purchase volumes.
